1974 shows, on the right, the derelict cottage and what was Doncaster’s
hat shop, with their main premises opposite at No.1 Church Street. Doncaster’s
ceased trading in the 1960’s and for a brief time the hat shop
became a ‘Furniture Showroom’, hence the modified fascia
