In this c1910 view, ‘The Limes’
is not painted white and the single-storey annex beside Station Street
and the columned portico are much later additions. The picture shows the
more ‘domestic’ design of the original porch. On the opposite
side of Station Street the ‘Blue Bell’ hanging sign can also
be seen.
