On what happens in the WI these days:
- Mostly what goes on in most organisations, we have a monthly meeting and a speaker. Sometimes we have outings, we had an outing to Grimsthorpe Castle last week, which was very good. We enjoyed that.
- Yes there is an AGM annual meeting where we go mostly. We have a spring camp, we call it a Spring Council Meeting and we go to the Theatre Royal in Nottingham. That is when all the Executive Committee are there and they tell us what we have spent and where the money has gone. We have a speaker in the morning and one in the afternoon. Then we have one in the autumn that is usually in Mansfield.
